This species spreads quickly, forming a casual lawn alternative for shady places. Bright green foliage is narrow and elegantly arches to the ground. In the fall the foliage will turn to a sandy/tan color.

Care: With a bloom time in May, this plant enjoys part shade to full shade dry to medium watering. It is low maintenancce, deer resistant, and drought tolerant once established. It can be used as ground cover, in a rain garden and as a lawn alternative. It tolerates heavy shade and wet soil.
