"Bunny Blue" (Carex laxiculmis)

Overview:
Carex laxiculmis or ‘Bunny Blue’ is a neat, well-mannered sedge with wide, blue leaves growing in a low mound. Use Bunny Blue as a ground cover, in borders, or mixed with shade-garden favorites. Also appropriate for middle-to-upper zones of rain gardens.
 
Care:
Blooms in early spring, requires average moisture, and likes a partly-sunny environment.
