About the event

On January 11, volunteers will help at a small urban woodland located along the Schuylkill River at Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing. This site received very little attention during and since the COVID pandemic. We are whipping it back into ecological shape with some loving care and new plantings. You must see this site! It's on the edge of a small peninsula that forms a lagoon filled with turtles, birds, frogs and fish.

This project is part of Marion Rector's service work through the PA Master Naturalist program. We'll provide an afternoon snack and hot beverages, along with tools and gloves.

We hope to see you there!

Please RSVP in advance!
