About the event
We are getting 250 native plants from the Xerces Society to put in beds near the Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing boathouse. These beauties need to go in the ground soon! This is a small part of a larger plan to improve the woodland's ecology by supporting pollinators and providing habitat for wildlife. And to make nature more accessible to people with disabilities.
The project is a collaboration between the LandHealth Institute and the Pennsylvania Center for Adaptive Sports. It is part of my service work for the PA Master Naturalist program.
This project is part of Marion Rector's service work through the PA Master Naturalist program. We'll provide water refills, along with tools and gloves.
We hope to see you there!
