About the event
As some of you may know, the Philadelphia Police have shut down the graffiti pier. Because of this untimely event, this event (previously the Graffiti Pier Ecotour) will now be an Ecotour of the Reading Viaduct. The Reading Viaduct is an abandoned elevated railway featuring picturesque graffiti and a novel ecosystem comparable to that of the Graffiti Pier. Those who are attracted to places like the Graffiti Pier will find this exploration of the Viaduct to be exhilarating.
Discover the past, present, and future of this industrial railway that has been taken over by nature and urban explorers. Learn about Philadelphia's industrial history while walking along a unique ecosystem that has emerged amongst the graffiti. The exploration will be led by local ecology expert Scott Quitel. A donation of $10 is recommended.
