About the event
Join us for our June Community Kayaking at our Dragon Boat Dock! This is the perfect location for beginners and people who have never paddled before to come out and learn the ropes! Our stretch of river is both calm and scenic, making for a great location for paddlers of all skill levels. All equipment is provided.
Accessing the Dragon Boat Dock on weekend can be difficult! Martin Luther King Jr Drive is closed to cars every weekend. You have two option, you can either park on one of the roads above Martin Luther King Jr Drive and walk down to the boathouse or you can drive through the Montgomery Drive entrance. At exit 341 of I-76, above where Montgomery Drive intersects with Martin Luther King Jr Drive will be a park ranger.
